How minutes work
Translation, transcription, and document features in QolSync AI are measured in minutes. Here is what a minute is, where your minutes come from, and what happens to them.
What a minute is
Your balance is counted in minutes. One minute covers one minute of live translation or two-way conversation, in any quality mode and into any number of languages on a Meeting plan. Dictation without translation uses half a minute for each minute you speak. Documents use one minute per page per language, and photo translation uses two minutes per photo per language. Minutes are a prepaid service, not money: they have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
What minutes cover
- An hour of two-way conversation uses 60 minutes.
- An hour of transcription uses 30 minutes.
- You are charged for what a session actually uses, not for an estimate.
Monthly minutes
A paid plan gives each subscription a set number of minutes at the start of every billing period, shared by all its seats; through Zoom, each assigned seat receives its own. The Pricing page shows how many each plan includes. Monthly minutes expire at the end of the period and do not carry over. Annual plans also receive their minutes month by month.
Purchased minutes
You can buy more minutes whenever you need them. Purchased minutes never expire, and they stay on your account even after a subscription ends. They belong to the whole account, and monthly minutes are always used first. If you delete your account, unused minutes are lost.
Checking your balance
In the iOS app, open Settings, then Plan, to see the minutes you have available, what is left from this month, and your purchased minutes. On the web, sign in and open Usage in your account.
Refunds
Refunds depend on where you bought. Apple handles purchases made in the iOS app. We refund purchases made on our website for minutes you have not used, if you ask within 14 days. Zoom handles subscriptions bought through the Zoom App Marketplace. Monthly plan minutes are not refundable on their own.
