After the session: get the gist and ask follow-up questions.
What it does
Summarize & Ask works after a session, not during one. It generates an AI summary of what was said and lets you ask follow-up questions about that session. It is a post-session capability, not a translation mode.
When to use it
Use it after a lecture, a meeting you attended, or a recording — to get the key points and answer questions without re-reading the whole transcript.
Step by step
- Finish a session or open a saved one.
- Opt in to Summarize & Ask for that session.
- Generate the summary.
- Type a question about the session to ask.
- Read the answer, drawn from that session’s transcript.
Good to know
Summaries and answers are processed transiently by our AI provider and require you to opt in. Nothing is used to train models, and you need an internet connection to generate a summary or ask a question.
